Paper, Vegetable Fiber & Cork Sheet

D&D Engineered Products Inc. offers a versatile range of non-metallic gasket materials designed for low to medium-duty sealing applications across automotive, industrial, and general maintenance sectors. Among the most commonly used are gasket paper, vegetable fiber, and cork sheet — each offering unique performance characteristics based on your sealing needs.

  • Gasket Paper is an economical option made from cellulose or fiber-reinforced materials. It’s ideal for low-pressure, low-temperature applications such as fuel systems, carburetors, and small engines. Easy to cut and handle, it's a go-to material for basic sealing jobs.

  • Vegetable Fiber is a denser, more durable material made from chemically treated plant fibers. It provides improved resistance to oil, fuel, and mild solvents, making it suitable for automotive and light industrial applications. It holds up better under pressure and temperature than standard gasket paper.

  • Cork Sheet is made from natural cork combined with rubber binders (such as NBR), offering excellent compressibility and conformability. It performs well in low to medium-pressure systems, especially where flanges are uneven or bolt loads are limited. Ideal for sealing oil pans, pumps, gearboxes, and electrical enclosures.

These materials are available in a variety of thicknesses and can be custom-cut to suit your application.
